Dr. Maria Cellamare worked on this project from April 2011 to March 2012.
In this period the qualification was temporary research fellow and the object of the assignment was: "analysis of the size structure of phytoplankton guilds for methodological standardization and certification of ecological descriptors of the state of health of aquatic ecosystems".
Her post-doctoral research focuses on phytoplankton functional traits in transitional and coastal-waters. She conducted her PhD research at the University of Bordeaux and Cemagref Institute (France) working on the use of primary producers (phytoplankton, phytobenthos, macrophytes) as ecological indicators in French freshwater lakes, including aspects as bioindication and exotic algae dispersal.
