Dr. Vadrucci has been conducing research activity since 1991 in Ecology, Hydrobiology, and Marine Biology.
The activity of Dr. Vadrucci directed to the analysis of trophic characteristics in domestic water systems (especially saltwater) and marine and studies on the relationship between structure and function of phytoplankton communities, these issues represent one of the central points of the ecology of communities and aquatic ecosystems are fundamental to any study aimed at the protection and sustainable management of these ecosystems.
Remarkable in recent years has been its work in the laboratory and in the field, the latter conducted on different environments, both marine lagoon that exist in both the national and international level: Pond Acquatina - LE, Alimini Lakes (LE) lagoons of Lesina and Varano Delta PO, Adriatic Sea, Strait of Messina, Sicily Channel and the Strait of Magellan, lagoon systems in Albania and Romania.
